The markets served include the manufacture and repair of generators, transformers, switchgear, power supplies, electric motors, electric furnaces, and related electrical and electronic equipment.

- Responsible for directing the reagent, instrument systems and customer product support technical staff to ensure supply chain quality providing the necessary leadership in managing major product and process enhancements. This includes the necessary support of and participation with overseas suppliers in Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, and China.
- Direct the Quality Control Testing Laboratory in the timely evaluation and release of intermediate and finished products produced.
- Led the implementation, continued facilitation, and support of the Operational Excellence/ Lean Six Sigma Programs at the Mishawaka, IN manufacturing site as well as the Bayer Product Supply Northeast Cluster, which includes plants in Pennsylvania and Kansas.
- More recently led a team in the development of advanced manufacturing systems for high volume, web based format applying processes and techniques from Design for Six Sigma methodologies.
- Provide support and assistance with various ISO, TAC and FDA audits as it specifically relates to change control processes.

- Led an interdisciplinary team in the development of a portable point-of-care bedside blood glucose monitor. This encompassed conducting initial focus group studies to development of prototypes through clinical trials and into manufacturing and product launch. Launch activities included sales and branch training as well as on-site customer-use training.
- Was instrumental in defining and implementing PACE (Product and Cycle Time Excellence) processes into the product new product design methodology.

- Provided functional management of a group of over twenty software engineers that designed, developed and validated embedded software used in the control of diagnostic instruments as well as PC-based data management systems.
- Served on the core team to implement and refine the SEI Software Capability Maturity Model into the software development process.
